02 · Parts

Three parts. One tooth.

Each implant is planned as three separate parts: the body that sits in the bone, the abutment that connects it, and the visible crown.

03 · Surface

A surface that bonds with the bone.

The roughened titanium surface makes it easier for bone cells to attach.

04 · Treatment

A new tooth, in two stages.

The implant is placed first. Once it has healed, the crown is fitted.

A coordinated plan for both jaws.

Full-mouth implant treatment addresses tooth replacement needs across the upper and lower jaws. It is a treatment-planning description, rather than one fixed procedure for every patient.

Planned around your needs

Your dentist considers which teeth can be preserved, how each jaw can support a restoration and how the two arches will function together. Different approaches may be appropriate in each jaw.

What treatment may involve

Treatment is planned in stages, with temporary and definitive restorations considered where appropriate. Discuss likely visits, healing intervals and what you can eat during each stage.

What to understand before deciding

Full-mouth care involves a substantial commitment to surgery, maintenance and future review. Additional procedures or changes in timing may be needed. Long-term results are not guaranteed.

Will every missing tooth need a separate implant?

Not necessarily. Several replacement teeth may be supported by an implant-supported bridge or full-arch restoration. The design is individual.
